At their pre-eminent training yards, you'll have the rare opportunity to meet the legendary Jessica Harrington and her esteemed family. They are the masterminds behind a world-class racing yard that has nurtured and produced superstar horses that have left their mark in the racing history books, including Moscow Flyer, Alpha Centauri, Sizing John, and Magical Lagoon, among many others.
As you make your way up Commonstown Stable driveway, guests will be welcomed by the Jessica Harrington team. The tour will begin at the outdoor arena where guests will gather and witness the horses warm up for their exercise, while Jessica narrates her plans for the horses around you and the group.
From there the tour will move along to the gallops where guests will gain a greater view of the vast landscape, the picturesque views of the Wicklow Mountains, and state-of-the-art facilities spread out across the 120 acres training yard.
Throughout the tour you will be immersed in the daily routine of one of Ireland's top trainers, and learn how Jessica cares for and trains her horses in training.
As the tour concludes, guests will be treated to Tea/Coffee and some light bites in the company of the Harrington Family in their home.
Parking is available on-site for individual vehicles or small vans.
This is a working farm/stable so wheelchair accessibility is limited. No pets allowed.
As this is an outdoor experience, please dress accordingly. Closed toe shoes are recommended.
